Hahahaha good to know I am not the only one. My perculas love it, I dunno why but they will stop at nothing to "catch" it, and when I keep it still, they swim over it, and hover. Either they have "empty nest" syndrome, or I have some Forrest Gump'd buddies.
(When just starting out) Ever buy a fish believing it was one thing, only to find out later it was something totally different, and it's requirements were very different than you were told? (I.E. - Your first lesson on why not to trust a LFS)

My first marine tank. I bought what I thought were "neon gobies" for $10 each. I bought 4 of them, thinking they'd stay small and nice. Well, turned out they were just baby "engineer gobies" the suckers got about 12" long really really fast before I dumped them onto a coworker (they're now about 20"), tore up the sand under all my live rock. They didn't really bother my other fish at all, and they were wicked cool lookin, but I definitely did NOT want something that big at the time.
Have you ever had a fish that would let you touch it and would actually come up to the surface of the water to let you "pet" it with your finger?
the first part, my lionfish of all things does. but my oscar is the only one ill move my hand around, the lion just comes and perches on me while im working on the tank

No, I don't think so at least I usually see what stings me but I could have been wrong about some of them

.Last year I had a pool party BBQ and for those that had never been to my place, I led them to the lagoon and told them that was the pool (because when I lead them through the 'wet' room instead of the side of the house where the main backyard is, you can't see the pool because of the fences i have around the lagoon.
Long story short they were about to jump in when my friend Mike was like "Wait a second, what was that!?! There is something in there!!"
I tried to play it off but when my buddy Tyler's girlfriend and her friend sat down and put their feet in the water, my sharks came forward (they are puppy dogs and love attention, wouldnt have hurt them). Yeaaaaaa lets just say that i have never seen people fly like they did. I was laughing so hard I nearly passed out.
I don't think they appreciated my joke though. Hmm, oh well, it still cracks me up cuz I have it on video from my security cameras so I can watch it over and over again and play it at all the parties I have. Hehehe.
Have you ever been on MFK in the middle of the night knowing you needed to be in bed but just couldn't close the damn thing!?!? LOL ok not a real question, just had to say it. Brain dead from sleep deprivation so my question will have to come tomorrow when I can think straight!

Yes and lol at this one a YTBD (yellow tail blue damsel) Whenever I am doing something with my arm in his tank and I go past hole he attacks me and keeps following my arm. If I am away from his hole he stalks me lol.
