FTP Police are a joke. Many of them are scared humans who shouldnt be cops in the first place. I personally would NEVER call the police for help. They dpont always give you the help expected. If you call the cops there is a 0.001 percen t chance they will shoot and kill you. Go ahead call the police

if a guy is pointing an assault rifle at me, i have a wife and family to take care of, i may fire without being fired at first. i could be dead before i can yell DROP YOUR WEAPON! and if i didn't fire first, but i hear gun shot already, i may also fire thinking my guys are being shot at

See, that's my problem with these violent raids; they put lives at risk, for a stupid reason. All this over a narcotics search? And since when does a shiny badge mean a cop's life is more valuable than a regular civilian? Why does a badge give a cop the right to shoot and kill somebody who points a gun at them? Why doesn't this concept of self-preservation apply to a civilian too? A cop can defend himself, but I can't?

If somebody busts in to your house un-announced, of course you're going to try and defend yourself. If you have a gun, you're going to grab it. What if this guy was completely innocent, and they went to the wrong house? That could have been me. Simply trying to defend myself and my family. I have several guns in the house. That's the first thing I'm going to grab if I hear noises outside. You think he intended to take on a SWAT army with one rifle? I highly doubt it. I'm sure he had no time to even surrender, just like the guy in the video I posted (post deleted).

What ever happened to real police work? Staking out the suspect, and taking them down when they leave the house? What are these violent raids achieving?

Militarizing our local police force has to stop. These aren't cops anymore. They're paramilitary. Full tactical gear, vests, AR15s, coming into your house in the middle of the night, itching to kill. I understand the need for these types of raids when looking for a violent offender that just committed a crime. But for a controlled substance? Give me a break.

As for the evidence, I call BS on that one. If they found something, anything, they would have immediately announced it to make their actions appear justified. And what about the lies? That they were shot at, and their shield had several bullet holes? And a week later they change their story to say he never shot at them. I smell a cover up.

no i agree with you completely

i'm just pointing out what may have caused them to fire at that particular point in time. but their mistake was like you said, should've never been there to begin with and not in that way for those reasons

and unfortunately we lost a guy that used to serve. feel terrible for him and worse for the wife and kids

Every time I read something like this it gets me so freaking mad. Here are few more stories of police protecting and serving. All of the stories below are connected. These "PIGS" were setting up people for DUI arrest, stealing and dealing drugs and god knows what else they did. If you have a moment... read the articles below. Total of 5 or 6 DIFFERENT police agencies involved. God knows how many more different police departments are involved.

thats some good points you made i agree with you full and everyone sees it in the cops point of view no one see the civilans point of view imagine what the marine felt a bunch of guys braking into your house while his 2 sons wife and him are sleeping he opens his eyes and goes into protect me family mood and gets killed by swat cus der to scared to even say a word all their thinking about is let me shoot him so he wont shoot me

Wow it kills me to read this junk. Fed dea smashed down doors at my moms house on a tip and i wasn't even in the country at the time. Supposedly i had a grow room in the basement, and it was the actinic blue lights from fishtanks. Gotta love the police.

Oh dang, i better change my light bulbs.

I think cops these day are too busy to care about their donuts n coffee. Sometimes i even see couple cop's cars park close to each other in shade with windows open n just chit chatting with each other. Don't they have better place to be at. Ex: school or where children are at. If they show up more at the school or playground then there will be less child abduction happen.

The police I've interacted with have HUGE ego problems. I used to do a lot of driving for work at night and let me tell you I got pulled over a lot for BS reasons. I know they were looking for drunk drivers and no I'm not drunk. The last time I got pulled over the cop told me all the tickets he was going to write me and I went to say something and he said "Were you going to say something? Yeah I don't think so" What a jerk! BTW I'm a white female so its not entirely a race issue.

Or the time SWAT busted the door down at 1am at my mom's house looking for my brother who was already in jail and had been there for a few months, Yeah the police are awesome!!!!

Sounds like something my neighbors would do, call the cops on me. I better get rid of acintic lighting!
