Whats wrong with it? Or did you want to set a timer or something?

It's just an overall poor design on marineland's part. You can never turn off the blue moonlights while running the white lights and you cannot hook up the moonlights to a timer.
Also the whole 18-24" or 24-36" etc. thing bugs me. Just list the size of the fixture! The expandable legs usually sag when you have them all the way out too. And make a 48" already!!
Also, the light output is merely ok. I think they should be brighter.

But, overall I think they are nice and are good if you're looking for a ready built LED fixture and aren't expecting too bright a light. They look cool, very sleek. I just have those couple of complaints about them I listed, if they fixed those things this fixture would go from "good" to "excellent."

I agree with everything you said except i have no problems with having a timer since the tank is in my room and i just put the moonlights on at night.

The legs do feel weak though, they feel like wire from a clothing hanger.

Awesome, how many do you have on your 110 and what are the dimensions?

We have the 48" light strip on top of the 110 gallon tank. The tank is 60" long, so the light doesn't quite hit the ends of the tank. But, it's not a problem for us because we only have 5 Synodontis multipunctus and some cories in there right now. I don't think we'll add more light to that tank because we like the dim light look.

I will say the 2 - 36" light strips on the 300 gallon tank are more than enough, especially with the lighter colored sand we used.
