Any opinions on this light fixture? I'm looking to light a 75g tank and would like to go with LED's, but there seem to be mixed opinions on just about every fixture I look at. Any suggestions on a different light? I'm on a budget, mind you, haha.

I have a beamsworks led on my 120 looks really nice my dad has some an he likes them to
my brothers has a couple 18 inch marineland double bright on a 75 an it looks good to if you got the 48 inch one it would prolly work great. The only difference I can tell is that the the beamsworks dsnt seem to be as high quality as the marineland in feel an look fit an finish but there not as exspens but as far as function there pretty much the same some are just brighter than others beamsworks has a lot of different LEDs lights.

I've had mine for about 10 months and no complaints so far. Its a 48" on a 72" tank so its a little darker on ends when room lights are on, more pronounced without ambient light but that is the look I wanted.

I use them also. I have (knock wood) never had an issue, I like them.

I really like that. I was thinking of ordering a 36" light for my 48" 75g to produce a similar effect.

If you go on eBay, there is a vendor selling 2 beamswork single brite 48" led's for $100...you can't beat that!

On a tank your size, just one of those is more than sufficient.
