well my 120 has been up and running for about 1 month now and i have a 300 watt marineland stealth pro heater. the problem is that i have it set for 86 degrees f and the led light turns green when my thermometers says its only 81 degrees. at first i thought my thermometer was the problem but i used 3 different and all of them read 81 degrees. so any thought would greatly appreciated. thanks

dont buy their heaters all junk wont hold temps , just quit, and will put electric in your tank , had them all ,powerheads are junk as well

lucky i have a backup:)

but yea their clearly terrible. very unreliable. im probaly going to get a ehim jager.

;like everyone else is telling you junk that heater itll kill your tank:P

I would suggest using two heaters and not just one. I have a 90 gallon tank and I use two heaters. Using two heaters for larger tanks works really good. Good luck.

hahaha another Marineland heater bash
I wouldn't put a marineland heater in my mother-in-laws tank
the exploding tank threads are awesome however

shouldn't you be using a larger heater or mulitple heaters if you have a 120 gallon?

As for marineland heaters, between home tanks and tanks at work, I have over 20 marineland heaters running without any issues for many years, all different sizes.
