Marineland heater problem

well the company i ordered from is retuning it full money back so thats good. and im probaly going to get a ehim jager but im open to opinions
Not saying you should't get what you want, but I have 2 Stealth Pro Heathers on my 120. They work fine. YES, I know that they are prone to explode, but from multiple sites, I have read that it is limited to a certain Batch #. Luckily, I don't have that batch.
You should really put in 2 heaters. One on each side. That way, you get water properly heated. Especially if you don't have a lot of flow in your tank, water at one end could be cooler than the water at the other end of the tank where the heater is. I could be wrong though, you could have it in the middle and just have a faulty heater.

Just get a rena xp and get their Thermic Smart Heater there great have 1 in my 150 and has no problem keeping the temp in the tank. Hooks up to the intake love it.
put a voltage meter in the tanks then come back and tell me about how great they are, buy the way put on rubber boots first, good luck
