Has anyone tried this light? If so what is your opinion of it. I have CA/SA cichlids in both planted and non planted tanks and I'm looking to get some unbiased opinions of the pros and cons.

I have 2 of the the 36" single bright fixtures on my 125. I'm plenty satisfied. They provide very natural looking light. They arent the brightest in the world, so if you really like a super bright tank, def get the double brights.

I like the natural look
I like the slim profile on top of the aquarium
I like the moonlight feature
I like that i'm only pulling 13w total with 72" of lighting.

They are not very bright. I have a 36-48" Double bright on my 30" deep tank and it did not penetrate very well. They are OK for shallow tanks but there are far better and cheaper LED solutions....search LED threads and you will find mine and others...

I have the smaller 24-36" on my 29g. It's a great little fixture clear looking; nice white light, the blue night lighting is also a nice touch.

i had the reef lefs for a day
returned them back to drfoster
i really dont like the color spectrum of the 10000k lights..washes out all the colors, makes everything dull looking
and i hate the blue leds that have to stay on
