Nice gar.
I'm wondering why Pejelajarto thinks it's something special. I'm thinking that it might actually be a shortnose gar or a spotted gar if it's supposed to be something different.

Me too, thats why I posted more pictures. The worst part is, he's been viewing this thread with no posts. I'm guessing if it is something other than the ordinary florida, it's a spotted. I dont know. Maybe he could tell us!

What if he's messing with us, and it is just a normal florida, and he want's to test everyone? Hahaha
I'd say the three choices are:
1. Florida gar (either he's playing with us, or Peje knows its not a Florida)
2. Spotted gar
3. Hybrid gar (Florida x something).
Pretty sure its not a shortnose (at least not a pure shortnose). Could be a Florida/shortnose cross, or a Florida/longnose cross.
I'd probably lean towards a wild caught spotted gar if it isn't a Florida though. Which would be a lucky find.

After reviewing some pictures of various gars, I'm saying shortnose gar if it's not a Florida gar or spotted gar.
