Do you mean is it safe if it's still frozen, or because it is cooked?
If your feeding it frozen I would worry about jagged edges.
Cooked would actually be double safe if anything, it's been cooked!

i was just wondering if it was safe because i was told to buy 'raw uncooked shrimp' as i have a bag of 'cooked peeled shrimp' in my freezer, i thought i would ask here before i risk my fish. thanks.

I have always heard that uncooked is the way to go. I feed uncooked shrimp daily

the thing with prepackaged frozen shrimp, whether it be raw or cooked, is it has an added preservative which can be bad for the fish. the preservative is no doubt suspended in the water surrounding the frozen shrimp. a good rinse should remove most of it.
