My fishys love the fresh shrimp. I just peel a lb. or two while washing them, cut into bite size and pre-package in zip lock bags the amount per feeding. Then put rest in freezer, pull out and drop in warm water for 5min or so then dump in and let the frenzie begin.
Shrimp here is about $4-$6/lb. What I did get the other day that was DIRT cheap. Tilapia - uncut. Whole fish - so I gotta prep, but it was only $1/lb!!!
Now I gotta see how sloppy it will be to prep up.
