I'm no expert but but from what I have seen I this fish the anus and mystery orifice look like this...oO

Smaller hole closer to head, larger closer to tail

Selling fish is like selling a house, location-location-location. In this area I would expect to get $50-100, knowing up front that $100 might take some serious time to find the right person. At $40-50 it would sell fairly quickly.

Could be male, but just for reference......
Here is one of the males I had

now below, a female

duanes, good looking argentea for sure. I have honestly not seen a female with that much freckling before. Must be a collection/variant or simply quality difference. I can certainly see why you'd suggest the OP's is female now. Most females that I have seen have about one "freckle" per scale.

Yes color can be deceptive, even when trying to distinguish between species.
In one location individuals can have totally different patterns depending on terrain, or vegetation, and still be the same species.
I have had two location variants of Chuco intermedia, and they could be mistaken for separate species.

male from the 1st group I had above, male from the 2nd group below.
