ahhh looks great! i hate cali now x_x me want rays.... one comment though, dont u think the rays would be annoyed to eat bloodworm on sand since if they suck in the worms they mustve sucked in soooo much sand wit it too ._. but anyway, cool rays ^^

for right now they are in a 125gal with a Fx5..these are my first rays so its a good sized starter tank for me and them. They have plently of room to explore and get away from each other if they want./. and gives me a chance to get the hang of everything before i start a ray tank on a much larger level. Right now they are eating blackworms and super reds...im going to start market shrimp soon but with the new addition being shipped he needs some fattning up first...

as for the sand annoying them when they eat...they are deff little sand sifters.. they like to burry themselves in it and dig in it, they even gang up and blow it inbetween the rocks to push the worms out to eash other, they are very very smart little creatures...its very strange but when eating its doesnt seem like they suck alot up and if they do in comes out of there spiracles....but even if they did, sand is a part of there natural habitat and does them no harm... i personally am going to eventually remove the sand and replace it with something that doesnt stick to them...but thats just because you just cant see how pretty they are.
im deff hooked and im planning on at least one indoor ray pond.they may be my first but deff not my last I GOT THE BUG! and anyone who has evey had one has it..b.c there like nothing you have kept before.they have personalitlies and attitudes...they amaze me. i spend a unhealthy amount of time just staring the tank...
