I would get a divider in place until I have the means tp keep both separately (if your tank is big enough). Both too special to let go.

Muillinaust, you make a good point, but that would only include California. They're not illegal here in Vegas because of California's attitude on banning everything but weed.

California has a lot of power in Congress, and a lot of the activist groups will hire lobbyists to help further the cause. Also the problem first started in Maryland, the original population was eradicated, but after they were found in Cali they were suddenly added to the list of injurious species.

Yeah I heard they found argus in Maryland, but I didn't hear anything about them in California, except in Hollywood (Frankenfish, lol). What river were they found in? I feel a road trip comming on, lol. Just playing, too far of a drive for me for a fishing trip. Would be fun though.

They found them in a couple lakes in the San Bernadino Mountains, first back in '97 or '98 and then a few months after the original report of the Maryland incident in '02.

I take it asian pike's are available in Las Vegas. I think it might be worth it to move out to Vegas for the asian pike or just because Cali's gun laws are getting ridiculous. California is making it real hard to live here. The revolution will be televised!!!!!

they're not readily available in vegas. You have to know people that know people as with anywhere else in the states.

if you want peace in the tank i would say keep the wolf. because i think "those pikes" will only become more and more aggressive towards all tankmates in time..... but i agree, what a tuff decision to make!!
