Mass forming in my Blood parrot

I have had this blood parrot for 3 years now and it has always been healthy, it is still acting completely healthy and eating but has had a large mass forming on his side. It has gotten to the size now where some scales are no longer flush. I just want to determine what it is, if it will cause harm in the long term, and If so how can i treat it. It has a brownish tint to it when looking it it head on and has been there for about a month or so.

I don't really see anything? Parrots have huge rib cages. Maybe a bit of weight loss and its showing? Just keep the water clean and monitor. If the fish is behaving normally I wouldn't worry. It could be an injury or scar tissue.

My female parrot Patch has 'big hips'. You can see her squared out from above where the bone is shaped.

I don’t know, I only seen a bad tumor in a fish once, but in case I’m wrong or for more help, kno4te could help.

Not much can be done since it could be a growth. I do see it. Looks internal. I’d cont to feed and avoid over feeding. See how it goes.

Could also be a cyst, now that I can see it better. If your parrot eats pellets be sure to soak them first. No hard foods or anything with shell/chitin (dried insects).

Blood worms are a nice soft food but only good for a treat.

Feeding it all the time is like the equivalent to feeding your kids chocolate every meal.
