WTH!!!?!! My water was getting low in my tank, so I added about 6-8 gallons of water. Used the same bucket I always do, added a little chlorine remover, and that's it. Three hours later, the fish look like this...
How on earth does this happen?? I've had these fish for years and try even survived a move from Oklahoma to Colorado in a cooler. This is nuts! I'm ticked and sad at the same time. Don't even know what to do here..

Maybe something in the bucket?

Okay, now this is a miracle of all miracles. You can see in the pics that these guys were dying and sadly one actually did, but I was thinking maybe something with the oxygen was jacked up. I took a big bubbler from another tank and added a quick spray bar to it and now everybody is happy and swimming normally. Very odd how suddenly the oxygen was depleted, but glad I guessed right:) the fish that died luckily wasn't one of my favorites, but he was still part of the "family". I'll definitely check the bucket next time too. Very weird

Do you do water changes or just top off for evaporation?
