dgk they look like male and female to me but you should really start your own thread for this so as not to derail this one

and that jag pair is SWEET not to often you see such a big pair together, is the male always that dark or does he lighten up when they are not breeding?

Absolutely spectacular. Really want my Jag to get that big. How long do these fellas take to grow in the right conditions of course?

There not breeding ive had the male for about 1 month and the female at 1 inch like 2- 3 years ago so i just got a male for here i found and they paired up but yet havnt done anything. The male kinda gets lighter but not alot. I dont know what there gonna do. I almost think there both females.

if they have a significant size tank, and get fed well, they can quickly grow to 10 inch. After that it goes a lot slower. Especially the female will not grow that fast as she is constantly busy producing eggs. My guess is that this couple is 4 years old.
