Yeah its sounds like a mini cycle or did you add any of the bacteria culture sometimes available like API Stess-zyme? I found after my BB colony was established when I first started keeping fish that every time I used it the tank got cloudy

+1 on the mini cycle.. did you happen to clean the filters? i believe this was the cause of my mini cycle. you need to check parameters to be sure and don't feed. you don't want to be adding any additional stress to the tank.

i would switch to prime for water conditioner, until you have a water test kit such as a API master fresh water test kit i would be doing water changes of 50 to 70% every other day, making sure to dose for size of tank, not that amount of water you are replacing. cloudy water after water changes suggest the tank is either in a many cycle or is not cycled. Also crital clear water does not mean good water, water can look like dirty but be just fine. the big mistake is folks saying my water is crystal clear, its fine. this can not be further from the truth. nitrates can be through the roof and water look wonderful. get the kit do the water changes and once cycled let your water test tell you how often you need to be doing water changes.
