Try not feeding for about a week then bump up the temp a few degrees and throw in some crickets. Your aro will eat them and so will the bichir.

Today is day 7 that the arowana has not ate. The bichir is eating other food now. If he doesn't eat anything else soon, I guess he wins and can eat whatever he wants. I wish they made a massivore delite floating pellet. Thanks for all the replys.

Just feed them the pellets they want, it's not like they are just eating feeders. Why starve your fish to death when they can get plenty of nutrients for the pellets that they eat. I have seen fish fat and healthy that have only been fed Hikari Gold their entire life. They have all the nutrients they need. There is no point starving another fish to get them off of pellets, soon your only option may be live feeders or Massivore, which do you choose?

I agree. When I was younger I always fed my monsters just one type of food. It never seemed to do them any harm...I think my fish looked and acted better when I put less focus on it.
