No.This is my first attempt at it but I will go that route next go round.I found that sitting the loaf on the wood helped draw moisture out of it as opposed to placing it on a glass or plastic surface.Have you tried letting it dry in the refrigerator for a few days to see if that's better than letting it sit out on a wooden cutting board? I generally do this with gel food to reduce its water content.
