mato grosso azuls

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
gaa I hate when people do that! they think its ok to be put in a lil box, its like being a hobo in lil box, that doesn't seem fun

So how much did u pay for your mato? Not u Tj, I'm in no way disrespecting u but to me that looks like a tocontins azul only time will tell what these will turn into but from what I see in my tank and what ur posting are two diffrent fish and I know Tj can show adults from mato that don't have the spots on them at all and are no where near as green in color the adults are still gold and platinum in color with bright blue fins with 0 red in the tail

Zullies are zullies for the most part. Show me one with spangling as an adult and you have my attention. The different collection points on azuls have proved to show little difference as adults. Some more good than others, but that's it.

x2

Ado124 had a few diff collection points and they all looked similar. Msmasspolly did as well. Same result. I love zullies for their unique barring and amazing blues.

Every kind of peacock bass will look similar from different collection points but its those slight differences that makes them unique.

Of course they will all look similar since they are azuls.
Just like it goes with Kelberi, pinima, and intermedias.

Some azuls from certain collection points will be more golden some will be more blue some will be more green but in the end they're all azuls.

To me I believe the slight differences makes the fish look beautiful or ugly.

The only 2 peacock bass that have major differences from collection points are Orino and ocellaris.

I will put a Tocantins azuls and a mato grosso azul side by side same sizes to see the differences.

I have seen lots of azuls pass through me and I have to say these are the best looking IMO. You'll have to see it to believe it.
They're more platinum colors with golden to them.
These don't have the speckles as much as the Tocantins or the araguaias. These have the black line going to its tail from the last bars as I don't see that from other azuls at the same size.

Please do check out the video I posted on my Facebook page Facebook.com/lovethemfish and you can see how nice they look. It's one of those you have to to it to believe it lol.

I've gone through a quite a few zullies from different CP's to find the ones I want. Juvies are absolutely useless to me as far as distinguishing a better looking one (adult size).
I don't trust half the fish's color on this site. Photoshop does wonders.
