Wow, I love your tank. I really like the mix of river rock and driftwood. I have been looking for some nice rock like that for my CA tank as well. Great choice of fish :) Sorry to hear you lost your big guy. I've had a couple go that way and it sucks. I'm glad you didn't have to rip apart your tank though.

thanks. I spent quite a while aquascaping this one. Probably like an hour or so straight and then another 30 minutes for cleanup and cleaning of the canister filter. I'm just glad it paid off. Hopefully I can get some better lights on this thing and get some anubius or something growing in there for the fry and to help stabilize the rocks.

The larger rocks were laying on a hillside right down my street. The smaller pebble-sized rocks were from an old landscaping project of my dad's, and the driftwood and some of the large rocks were hand-collected by myself at Lake George and Lake Crawley in Mammoth.

love the aquascaping!!!!!!!!!!! do you do house calls lol

haha thanks. umm, sure I guess I could use the extra cash =) jk. I don't really know how I do it, especially once I kick up all the dirt and can't see 2 inches into the tank. I spend (on average) at least 5 hours a week on this site, and if you do that, you'll see the experts on this forum poke up their heads and share their tanks :jaw-dropp. they're my inspiration. If i could aquascape a tank half as good as Nutty's i'd be happy with myself. He's the expert you want to talk to.
