Yeah... I had to let a male festae go for this very reason, and I even had to break up a large number of fish when I pushed the limits too much and all out war broke out!
I'm actually cautiously restocking one of my tanks now, wondering how it will all go, and this time being more prepared with a back up plan than I was the first time, if things don't work out.
