mature jd's? and gt needs a home

What do you mean by big, 6"> or do you wanna see a foot long beast. I don't have either as JD's are illegal here, but, type Jack Dempsey Cichlid into Yahoo or Google and you will getpictures of some JD's. If yours is only 5" long it is stunned or not finished growing, keep your water clean, do lots of waterchanges and feed a varied diet high in protein and your JD should grow well.
no mines not stunnted at all, he's a baby still, 5 inches and not even a year old, in a 55 gal with his mate, weekly water changes and a great diet
also i typed in plenty of searches for jd's my point is every pic i find is the same size as mine,
does nobody keep these fish to adulthood? or maybe thoes who do just happen to not have a camera?

wow i cant believe jd's are illegal where you are, are they scared of people reseaing them into the enviroment?
