Hey guy's i'm sure this quistion has been asked before a biling times. First off how big will a dwarf lion fish get and how long for him to get there. And will he be able to live with my ceylon puffer, and mono sebae. ANd just for all that are wonder the mono and puffer are currently in 1,014 sg right now but i'm slowly bringing that up starting tommorrow with water change. Thanks for you'r time.

Sincerely

well you could probably bring the lion down to that (if you needed to) but yes as far as tank mates go those 2 should be fine...
max size is about 5-9 inches depending on species... bluespots i think are the largest 'dwarf' lions..
again depending on the species-9 mo to a year and a half

Just keep in mind that the puffer might nip at the lion's fins, etc. But I use to have a Dwarf Lion and it was a great fish.

from what i heard the most common dwarfs, common dwarf and maybe fu man chu (which are dificult to care for) get around 6in at max in aquarium im not sure how long it takes

also i would immagine that if the puffer was fin nipping the lion would defend itself and that wouldnt end well

sorry been working alot haven't replied to you'r reply's lol. ANy ways thanks for you'r t ime i appreciate you'r comments. I know lions are aggressive and all that i have done research on them i love them just haven't found to much info on the dwarfs. And at the end of the day my puff once first and i love his little as- made chill fish. And the only only fish for salt at this point that interest me are the lion's. Any ways again thanks for you'r time. And if any one could copy paste me a link to here with the different species of the dwarfs and specs i would appreciate it. ANd which ones are actually found in the hobby.

Sincerely,

lions are not agressive in the least
and none are hard to care for

mine ate mysis in the bag while he was floating.. so not all are..

if you can as them to be fed in the store.. they'll probably do the same in tank
