Nope, I switch the hoses and "hooks" to what best fits the tank I'm working on. I use to use the quick disconnects for my turtle tank but I hadn't thought to use them on these. I don't mind the tank end because I don't unscrew them too often but they would come in really handy for the pump end. I always have to remove the pump when I alternate filling and draining the smaller tanks. Thanks for the idea.duke33;2590280; said:Do you leave the hose attached?
