Yes, you have juvie jax. As they grow, you'll love them more and more. Mine have such a strong personality to them. They're awesome fish.
 
Actually, archer's leave the freshwater rivers and brackish inlets to spawn on the reefs in full strength saltwater. Juvenile arhcers grow up on the reef where food is more abundant. They travel back and forth quite frequently as adults.
 
Agreed. One of the best ways to captive breed them is increase salinity over about three days and leave them in full strength salt water. Nobody has good documentation of the eggs being fertile yet, but egg laying has occurred in captivity using this process.
