Maximum size of female GT?

Well they will be both silver and gold saum i have about 20 x 1-1.5" gt growouts and they are just starting to color up it will be interesting to see just what their colors will look like.I will put get some pics up of them in few weeks ans see what everybody thinks.

I don't know how big the female GT is going get but I had a 8 to 9" female GT three years ago.

Is there much of a difference in temperaments between males and females?

Max is probably 10",but if you get one, expect it to be maybe 8" in 5 years. Slow growers, especially after sexual maturity. And natalie, neither sex is very aggressive.

Curently my female is the most aggresive of the 2 but thats due to having fry without the fry the male shows a little more dominace. Like swami said the gt's just are not overly aggro when compaired to likes of the wolf cichlid,rd,trimac,jaguar and all the other real killers out there.
