Maximum waterlevel for Channa

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
dude in all honesty the maximum watter level for any channa is. THis is gonna sound wierd.
As low of a watter level you can deal with . Meaning as low in the tank that the noises from pouring watter dont drive you nuts. channa will jump. They will jump out if theres even a smallest chance in hell trust me. After you cover the tank with lids place a sheet of clear plastic over the top to finish completely sealing the tank. Or i fear in a few months you next post will be my channa jumped ship!

Will you be using any other external filters on this tank besides the wet/dry?

I'm assuming that you will be lowering the water level in this tank at some point in time, as your fish grow and mature... correct? Will you be able to still utilize your wet/dry if the water line goes lower than the slots on your overflows?

Beautiful tank, btw. Can't wait to see it fully setup! :)

Thats what I was wondering if they required a lower water level when fully grown. I won't be able to use the wet/dry if the water level drops lower than 1.5 inches.

Snakeheads needs a lot of water ^^
