Dude, that is the most pimped out quarantine tank I've ever seen! What brand of de-wormer are you using for the eel? Prazi-Pro?

I didn't even know about quarantine tanks when I got him. I just wanted to reduce stress as quickly as possible. Initially I had just dead leaves, then added creek sand.

Never even thought about using de-wormer either. I'll have had him for 11 months next weekend. Should I even bother treating at this point? I haven't seen any symptoms. He eats like a champ.

If he's growing like a champ then you've probably got nothing to worry about. I've thought about getting pet fish from the food market, too, but they always look so nasty. Looks like they can be turned right around with good care, though. Good job, man.

Haven't been able to measure him to see how much he's grown. He's always buried lol. The only problem I had with him was when I initially had him in complete fresh right after I got him. He was turning on his side alot...but then I moved him to a tank with a little instant ocean and he never did it again. Eels are amazingly hardy critters. Thanks man.

Nice save haha! =D

what a nice person you are for saving it it looks happy to..i think eels are some of the coolest fish out there
