Mayan cichlid - how aggressive?

Yes...I know. I found the link in Google and click into a post that said SHOW US YOUR MAYAN or something similar...I have ton's of Mayans but, he's the king...But, they are strange to me as I am learning how different aggressive/predator species act both alone and when together and when in company of other agg/pred species. My Mayans all hide and cringe when my Warmouth approaches...but, that also changes depending on the personality of individual fish...so...very complex...lol.
