Is there a market for uropthalmus in Cali?

In Flordia they eat them, they are in every ditch and easy to catch.

not really my lfs gives me 3 dollars each for 1 in+ fry. I got mine when I first got in to the hobby the lfs told me they were festas (true red terrors)so I bought 3 but a few minutes on the net and I found out they were mayans. So about a year later two of them paired off and in one bloody night they killed 2-jd 6in+ 1-gt 7in+ 1-rd 6in+ the only thing left was my common pelco 12in+.So even though they were not the red terrors I wanted they were close enough for me.

So my orignal gesstamate was off I said 6-800 well I think its more like 16-1800 . What do you guys think should I take them from the parents now in a week or ever? I did take around 200 and put them in a 5 gal. need fed back

if there are no other fish in the tank except the pair i would leave them alone, since the parents would be able to take care of them better than you can Good Luck on growing them out

I have a 8in silver aro ,7in bichir,10in com pelco in a 130gal I did move some to a 5 gal

O.K. the male went a little berzerk and decided to open a can on every thing in the tank so I moved both parent and fry to my 60
