Mayan or red terror

Ok so i bought a so called red terror for 35 bucks on ebay he has colors like a red terror and has a y stripe but the weird thing is he has a mayan looking dot he is about 1 inch also if it isent a real red terror what can i do can i take him back and get my money back or im just going to have to sell him

True red terrors have the black dot on the upper half of the tail fin , while Mayan's have it spread out on the tail....best way to decide is when possible a clear pic/video
