True red terrors have the black dot on the upper half of the tail fin , while Mayan's have it spread out on the tail....best way to decide is when possible a clear pic/video
He looks like a mayan what should i do with him since i want a fesate its not that i dont like them but its because i have been looking for true festae and the thumbnail showed a young festae which i thought i was going to get. Also was 35 dollars a ripoff for a mayan and how much should i sell himLooks Mayan but the pics are not the best. I used to have some mayans about the same size, you can compare at the following video link if you'd like.
What should i do with him i paid 35 bucks for him on ebay100 percent Mayan
Report it to ebay and they should refund your money. I would not waste the time and effort to reship this fish back to the owner because, according to you, he advertised the fish as a festae by putting up a picture of a festae. Do not waste your money shipping this fish back! He falsely advertised his merchandise as something it wasn't, which is something ebay considers bad business. If I recall, there is and option somewhere that allows you to report the item/seller.
Sure he did say it was a red terror and probably never mentioned it being a festae in the ad, but by him putting up a picture of a festae he clearly lied to you and probably others as well.
