Mayan Pair in African Cichlid tank

Came home after a movie to see that my mayan pair laid eggs! TONS OF EGGS.... So far they're only controlling a quarter of the tank, just as i had hoped! i'll be watching them closely, and hopefully they may raise a couple babie to adulthood on their own! (hey, i've had angelfish raise 1 baby til it was half their size before abandoning it!) Time and constant observation will tell!

just picked up 5 juvies. gonna go for a pair. hole n the head is a B*!$h though. the one i think is the only female has a small dent already and she is the best looking one too.

Congrats on the spawn! I really love how you're using the africans as dithers/targets. Great idea
