Mayan x Flowerhorn ? ID?

The term "flowerhorn" has stretched to the point of being used for any hybrid. I think you can set aside the fh idea. If it's not a single pure species, it is most likely just a two species hybrid. In tank pics will help a lot in determination, so we'll see.

trimac, flowerhorn... i dun know the difference anymore. Im not a cichlid guy... All I know is they both have the blotches I am talking about.

well i took some pics in the 10 gal i just picked up... but as i expected its just a pale fish now it was scared shiotless picked picked up n dumped in a totally new tiny tank... but here they are.
