  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Walmart and walgreens cary it. I dont think benny needs this atm
okay :). He's done with triple sulfa round 2. And day 2/3 of kanaplex. Wound on the back looks much better! Side still so-so.

When referring to "salt baths" are we talking about epsom or aquarium? Like mixing it with MB for example

Talking usually regular salt. I've always used aquarium salt or iodine free salt.

Remember reading a while ago that salt with iodine wasn't good with fish.

Gotta research it again to make sure. I'm getting old and forgetting much.

Regular salt is good for increasing slime coat production. So any scrapes and exposed flesh will be helped with re-growth. Not to mention it not good to bacteria, fungus and parasites.

I found a cheap 8 gallon tall at the LFS, and their one supplier got an African shipment recently so fingers crossed I get an SMS confirming possible polys and other cool stuff. It's happening guys!

Regular salt? Is that table salt or like rock salt with no iodine?

Salt with no iodine. I've got to check the iodine free salt issue. Yes regular salt is fine.

Ok. So what I've found is salt with iodine is safe for aquariums. Some have stated that some other agents used for binding can be unsafe in aquariums. Still gotta look at it.
