Mbu or fahaka

Trying to decide on either Mbu or Fahaka puffer for my 210

Fahaka. Mbu will outgrow the 210.

Just keep in mind...... if you go with the Fahaka it can't have roommates. An Mbu it is a possibility but that would be a small tank considering how large it will get.

Ended up not getting either, Don't really want only one fish in a tank, and the Mbu just gets to large by far for a 210.

Good call on holding off if you don't want a fahaka only and not getting a mbu in that size tank!

I have cichlids with my Fahaka there are a few people in here who do. He didn't kill any. A bit of chasing for the first few days and then nothing else happened. The cichlids were too darty for him. They have plenty of caves he can't get himself in. However, it is a daily head count to make sure no one is hurt or dead. One day it may change and I have a back up tank for if that day comes.
