Mbu Puffer Fish Sick? or?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
How much do you normally change once a week? coz thats pretty much the last thing i can think of causing problems with the fish...

Anyway, i'd probably just keep an eye out for him... btw, did you ever treat your puffer for internal parasites when you first got it? since puffers tend to come in with some form of internal parasites and that could be whats causing problems as well...

Lastly, not trying to sound rude here, but a 90G tank for a puffer that will reach around 27+ inches isn't going to last in the long run just so you know...

ok i just upgraded my tank from a 55 to a 95 gallon tank, i didn't kill any bacteria during the switch i was still running the filter in a cooler. but back to the main idea my mbu looks lazzzzy he hardly swims around the tank just chilling on the driftwood his color is like faded? lol i cant explain it but his "design" the strips aint greenish no more its more like brownish?
My MBU also isn`t eating and lying on the floor bed changed the water and the temp` is i think ok so if anybody has any ideas they would be a great help. Thanks

I'd suggest making a new thread for your fish, people see the dates before they click the thread and don't come in to see whats up.

but..as with any diagnosis, we need water parameters (ammonia, nitrites, nitrates) what you are feeding, water temp, pics of the fish, and what your water change schedule is.
