That sounds scary, how did it break its deathMy mbu is about 6" currently. In a 150 for another month or so till 600 ready. He doesn't bother any tank mates other then when he bit the dorsal spine on my tig. Get a marbled crawdad. Self cloneing so a 20L makes a perfect colony. I also feed it pellets and tilapia and snails. I get loads of snails from people in the local club. Glass surfing is normal. My mbu doesn't but my fahaka does. It rams the glass so hard he breaks his teeth. He wants to kill the p bass across from him.

Also do mbu puffers have better chances of tolerating their tankmates if they grow up with them? Or do they always pick at slow moving bottom dwellers?
