Mbu Puffer With Fly river turtle

Not a good idea IMO. Very risky, why risk the FRT which is so much more rare and valuable?

I said several thousand gallons & that is because of all the waste these 2 will put out, the size they will grow to & the territories they will both need.

Tell us about your future tank plans?

With one creature being messier than the other (both extremely messy!) I would consider this only with a several thousand gallon system, large sump & multible veggie filters.

I wouldn't risk it, both are expensive for a start, and lovely specimens, i'd say one or the other, and go for something else with either.

actually , some were put together in a 60gallon tank! (and I know they both get huge!)


and there is a 180 with 2 fly river turtles kept with a mbu, plus other fish!
