Not trying to be a smart ass here, but you do realize these magnificant puffers do require pretty large tanks, around 800G+ for each one...

Do you know how long does it take for one to grow to a size that requires a 800G+ tank?

^ They grow pretty quick... your looking at roughly an inch a month for the first year at least, if not more...

30" long & a TON of mass. They are huge eaters & huge poopers.

800 gallons??? I think they only max out at 30".
I agree, unless the fish has a 4' diameter, I wouldn't think a 800g would be neccessary, and certainly not a 1000g. I'd think that a 500-600g would be more than enough.

^ No offense, but have you ever owned any sort of puffer??? coz if you have you would know what type of crap factories they are and why they need the space...

Agreed. Nice puffers all. I am in Nashville and I too miss this puffer. Please all who posted their puffer pics share your sources. I Also agree that .these puffer require plenty of space. With some powerful filtration to handle their bio-load.

I would like to return this to the original post.

Why are MBU Puffers so impossible to find in Toronto?

and

Anyone know where I can get one?

I'm in Prescott (south of ottawa). If anyone has/finds a MBU in Toronto (or really even in Quebec) I'll gladly drive the 4 hours to pick it up (once my 150g aquarium is up and running <- to start! if it survives the first 2 years I'll upgrade). Thanks.

Why wouldn't a healthy puffer survive? It's gonna outgrow that tank sooner than you think.
