It's been done before, but expect to see potential aggression between the two. The aggression will probably be lessened if you have lots of visual distractions, hiding places, other fish, etc. I would feed a varied diet, but something with a hard shell on it to help keep the mbu's teeth trimmed. I've fed shell on prawns and frozen krill. Crayfish are also readily accepted. I wouldn't feed more than once a day or every other day given the tendency of mbus to overeat, sometimes fatally.House_64;498239; said:Thanks for all the input..... but, can I keep two of them together in the same tank? And what can you recommend feeding him/her to help speed up the growth? How many times a day or every other day? Thanks.
I've also done some homework on getting a snail farm going.... any suggestions on where to get snails to start with?!?
