Picking up two new females today. Good times. How do you think Fronts would fare with an extra large fire eel?

It's hard to say so far. The tank came with one cascade and one Magnum. I know I hate the magnum, I just pulled 7 feeders and a ghost shrimp out of it. Still alive. I really want a sump for it but I know nothing about them.

P.S. have you seen them breed? often the Fronts will not pair up...male just picks on female too much without other targets...
Can anyone venture a guess as to the gender of the smaller fronts pictured? I selected them hoping they were female. They come from the same collection point and group as the big front. I assumed given the size and color difference, the state of their fins compared to the others in the group, and observed behavior that they were female. I'm about the farthest thing from an expert though. I've notice that one of the little ones gets picked on more often by the big guy, less so now that I arranged some hiding spots, but more still than I'd like. I may just need more females to complete a harem. Commence operation find more Nangus.
