Actually I think Scales quarenteens some of their fish..

I never q any fish I buy.. but I only buy from those I trust.. As far as Riverdale I've never been but I've heard about it many times and know it's not my kind of place.. Hit up Scales/Exotic Aquatics.. both great upscale stores with proper ID's, good fish.
Scales is a really good lfs.the one in my area actually recently started selling california rays. they have a great selection of fish and most of the staff is quite knowledgeable.also good medications.I get most of my fish there.

Although SCALES is second to none in the DC area, I think that they only quarantine marine fish.

How many people are willing to pay two times the cost for a fish to have them keep it in quarantine 3-4 weeks before selling it?

You're rolling the dice by introducing fish without quarantining...even when they have been "quarantined" at the LFS.

In short, it's your fault.

I've never been to Riverdale Pets, but if it's a stinking h*ellhole with bad customer service and sick animals, don't shop there. But don't complain that when you drop something from there into your system that there are disease issues..

I've already stated that it was a lesson that'd had to learn the hard way
So clearly I know I was to blame

I no longer shop there as a result
I was just informing others
your comments are unnessesary

We do try to Q customer trades though.......if we have tank space, we recently lost about 30 5" silver Aro's though, had a tank of Mono Pbass come down with a serious case of ich, but they're all better now.
