Me again... pump related

I've had 4 different quiet one pumps and I've had 4 of them fail. The 4000s are ok if you clean the impeller and magnet regularly.

That said I can't find a submersible pump that I like. Every pump I've had that I've been happy with has been external. (Little Giant or Reeflo)

it is just the price ATM, I have over 4000 Big Al points so I can get the QO 4000 for free...

when I get more money I can get a better pump... dose the Q1 4000 come with a prefilter?

The pond model does, I'm not sure about others. The 4000 isn't a bad pump, but you can't neglect it. I will add that pentair customer service is top notch if that helps.
