sorry about that my phone gets a lil touchy sometimes and at end of day it was a lot more than 10 cups and I'm sleepy today and we have crappy coffee and no sugar...but as I was saying I would stick to those foods over mealworms... live black worms are good starter foods but get real expensive to keep as a staple food....

My Leo's eat the ocational meal worm that the RTG miss's. they've never done them any harm, they actually like them, but it would take a few hunderd to fill them up for the day .

How greedy are the rays? If not chewed live meal worm occassionally can cause stomach damage in smaller fish by biting the stomach lining but that is rare, so rare that I have never seen it myself and have only second hand reports of it so take it with a grain of salt, eh?

I was feeding the other days, and my aro missed a few meal worms, and rays went right on it.. so i thought i asked and see if any one use meal worms as main food...
