Ops the page was deleted:confused: It was a article about how aparently in some cases mealworms and superworms can literaly eat their way out of animals that swalloed them alive:nilly:Wanted to know you guys opinion on this

ive never seen anything like this personally and ive always been into herps but never got any until recently so i am not new to herps
but i dont think this could realy happen with larger herps
mostly babies because of there smaller tummies

Hard to believe. Anyway, impossible with fish.

Ive heard of this as well, hence I gutload and freeze mine before feeding...

I've heard it about superworms but not the small meal worms. Some people snip the heads off the superworms before feeding.

ive heard it so i dont use them for my lil guys only the real big chompers

Aparently the animals eat the worms, then start to look letargic, a bump apears in the abdominal area of the animal, the owner takes the animal to the vet, the vet opens it and its a mealworm STILL ALIvE:eek:
