Mealworms

i have heard of it..but i don't really believe it...lol

IMO theres just no way it could survive the chew sequence of most reptiles and fish, and the stomach acid long enough to chew its way out.

i have used mealworms for almost 10 years and never had a bad experience with them..i had geckos a few years ago that were on all mealworm and superwom diets..with some lobster roaches thrown in. and they were all fine and bred like mad.

Yes i've heard of this many many times but never seen an actual case of it happining Still i don't take a chance when i feed mealworms i crush there heads to make sure they can't chew on anything and because it gets there juices out which smell/taste good to Reps

I have heard of it but dont really believe it. What I have read on this topic is that people will find their animal dead and pick it up and see mealworms under it and eating their pet. These are just mealworms that have escaped and are getting an easy meal. There is no way one could survive the stomach acid.

I've heard it about superworms but not the small meal worms. Some people snip the heads off the superworms before feeding.

x2

I only use superworms when my LFS is out of meal worms, so I just crush their heads.
