Mean Discus?

I had a cobalt rescue in one of my tanks. And I was just able to introduce a new family of discus I bought from GLD. The cobalt was mean to everyone. When I say mean I mean nipping fins, chasing, just all around terrorizing. So I moved him to the 10gal where the new family came from. Guess what; THAT LITTLE JERK CHASES HIS REFLECTION. He is certainly not your normal discus, or is he

The same thing happened to me. I had about a 5" Blue Diamond who was the biggest in the tank that did not let any of my other discus come out to feed (I have 4 smaller than him). Once I added a male green snakeskin that was around the same size everyone is getting along fine:)
 
I've ended putting the cobalt in a 10 gallon hold tank. The family of six is in the big tank settling in. Hopefully when I return him in a couple of weeks he'll have calmed down. Oh, and one more thing about the ten gallon, he pushed a fake plant up against the front of the tank from the back. I'm telling ya this one's a mean little booger. I still wonder if he's got Jack Dempsey in him?

Are you sure it's a discus? I'm kidding of course, but I've never had one that "redecorated" the tank! :D

Yah, the last thing I need is the worlds first Discus pimp. I can already see him slapping her around and sending her to the krib tank for parties.:ROFL:
