[YT]Uq_CiuAsw70[/YT] i was at the fish store the other day and saw this giant gourami and took a video i thought it was pretty funny just wanted to share it with you guys. and i also dont know why he didnt attack the jacks in the tank with him he seemed either really hungry or mean haha anyways hope you enjoy! btw they wanted $50 bucks for this guy is that a good price i wouldnt get him but im just curious haha

haha yeah i was thinking about getting a smaller one for my upcoming predator tank but im not sure yet im prettyy sure if i put it in my chiclid tank there would only be one left by morning haha anyone know how much bigger these monsters get?

I had one years ago in my 110G high tank. he was small when I got him. The Oscars use to push him around quite a bit. THEN HE GREW. Came home one day to the Albino Oscar getting the chit beat outta him in the corner of the tank. That gourami hit that Oscar with a can of whoop ass. Paybacks I guess.

I had to get rid of a lot of fish to save their life. The only ones that were left were a Street smart goldfish 8", Jack D. 8", Neon Jewel Cichlid, And a Pleco 12"

The Gaurami was 15" of rip and tear. Fun part was watching the Jewel go after the Gaurami. He would do a hit and run procedure. Dart out bite the Gaurami and run for your life.
I had an extra large piece of driftwood in the tank so the gaurami couldn't get around it to catch the fish I had left.

He did the same thing in the video posted to me when I put my fingers up to the glass. lol... I miss him.... :)

We had to sell the tank because we tore down the old house to build a new one. No where to house the fish. Sold the tank and him with it.

They don't need to be alone. They just need room. I,v seen them get along with a lot of fish... He never bothered the one's that were left in the tank... Just chased the Jewel when the Jewel had beer muscles... :)
